For over 35 years Camtech Engineering has been offering clients high-quality solutions to manufacturing and tooling challenges. From humble beginnings, Camtech has grown into one of Australia’s most respected and sought-after toolmaking and precision engineering firms. We believe our success is in part having been founded and led by a team of engineering experts. Camtech was established in 1988 with 6 partners, each bringing with them a unique engineering background.
As the 2 remaining founding directors, Gary Roche and Daniel Lesjak continue to keep Camtech at the forefront of the toolmaking industry. Each director combines Camtech’s core values of integrity and innovation with their own unique perspective and experience.
Gary and Daniel help clients overcome challenges relating to production procedures, equipment failures, and improving cycle times. With their global perspective and entrepreneurial minds, Gary and Daniel are recognised as experts in toolmaking and work closely with clients from the conceptual design stage right through to the finished product.
Starting out as an apprentice toolmaker, Gary has over 35 years of experience in manufacturing injection tooling, blow moulding, and precision engineering. More recently Gary has been involved in the management of the business taking a hands-on approach as a leader who focuses on perfecting the business for optimal efficiency and reducing costs for our clients.
As Chief Executive Officer, Gary is responsible for day-to-day operations and plays an integral role in keeping Camtech one of Australia’s leading injection and blow mould manufacturers.
Gary has lived on the Gold Coast for 30 years. When he’s not working, he loves to spend quality time with family and friends.
At the age of 20, after completing his fourth year of his toolmaking apprenticeship, Daniel moved to the Gold Coast. Today, with more than 35 years in the industry, Daniel has mastered all aspects of toolmaking. Daniel has an intricate knowledge of up-to-date technologies used in toolmaking, including blow moulding and injection moulding machines.
As Chief Operating Officer, Daniel is hands on with manufacturing and production onsite. Many companies call on Daniel’s expertise to trouble shoot complex problems, including commissioning new tooling, fixing existing tooling and improving productions and efficiency.
Daniel enjoys spending his time away from work with his wife, children and grandchildren.
